Rob received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a B.S. in Physics at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA before succumbing to the beauties of the California Coast in 2007. He soon learned that he would not be seeing the coast after all as his office window faces east and he is busy pursuing the development of programmable optical filters through a monolithically integrated optical lattice structure. Rob's past experience includes work on dielectric charging effects in the MEMs microshutters system for NASA's James Webb Space Telescope. He also has a love for music and excels as a depressed Phillies fan.
