Atac Imamoglu, ETH Zurich 2006

Atac Imamoglu received his Ph.D from Stanford University. After postdoctoral stays at NTT Basic Research Laboratories in Tokyo, Japan and at the Institute of Theoretical Atomic and Molecular Physics at Harvard University, he joined The University of California at Santa Barbara as an Assistant Professor in 1993. He was promoted to Associate Professorhip in 1997 and to Full Professorship in 1999. Prof. Imamoglu is currently Full Professor of Quantum Electronics at the Department of Physics of the ETH Zurich.

Hideo Mabuchi, Caltech 2003

Hideo Mabuchi is currently an Associate Professor of Physics and Control & Dynamical Systems at the California Institute of Technology. He recieved his A.B. in Physics from Princeton University in 1992, and his Ph.D. in Physics from California Institute of Technology in 1998.

Arun Majumdar, UC Berkeley 2004

Arun Majumdar is the Almy and Agness Maynard Chair Professor in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. He received his BTech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in 1985, and his M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley in 1987 and 1989 respectively all in Mechanical Engineering. He served on the Engineering faculties at Arizona State University (1989-92) and UC Santa Barbara (1992-96).

Naomi Leonard, Princeton 2005

Naomi Leonard received her B.S.E. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Princeton University in 1985. She received her M.S. in 1991 and her Ph.D. in 1994, both in Electrical Engineering, from the University of Maryland, College Park. In 1994 she joined the faculty of Princeton University, where she is currently a Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
