Where you can stay

All travel reservations and payment are by own arrangement. GPR 2002 conference delegates are highly encouraged to stay at the conference venue (Radisson Hotel – Santa Barbara). A special rate of $109 per night has been negotiated for delegates (subject to room availability). The Parkside Inn, a slightly lower-rated hotel associated with the Radisson, is available at the special rate of $79. Hotel reservation forms can be downloaded for the Radisson Hotel–Santa Barbara and Parkside Inn. Overflow accommodations of a similar standard, style, and price will be available if required. Alternatively, budget accommodations on the street behind the Radisson (within easy walking distance) are available at Motel 6 and the Pacific Crest Inn. See the map.

Student Information: Students wishing to share rooms in one of the hotels or at the local youth hostel (Banana Bungalow Int'l Hostel) should contact the conference student advisor, David D’Anna, dannads@nv.doe.gov.

It is the responsibility of delegates to make their own reservations.
