These are the Email settings to use on computers connected directly to the ECE network.
See the bottom of this page for the additional settings needed for off campus connections.

From the Tools menu select E-mail Accounts.
Select Add a new e-mail account.
From the window that appears select IMAP



Click Next.
In the window that appears enter your User and Logon Information as provided by ECE Computer Support.
Enter mail.ece.ucsb.edu as both incoming and outgoing mail server.



Click on More Settings.
Select the Advanced tab.
Select "This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)" for both incoming and outgoing servers.



Click OK.
Note for off campus users: In addition to the information above, you will need some additional settings.

Click Next
Select Finish.
