Directions for setting up the
user environment and running the mmidoc and mmi_tutorial programs
1. Login to one of the Linux workstations in the lab.
2. Open a Terminal display.
3. Set up your environment.
Type the following command C shell users:
% source /eci/mmi/etc/mmi_setup.csh
Type the following command Bourne or Bash shell users:
% /eci/mmi/etc/mmi_setup.sh
4. You should now be able to view the online documentation or run
the tutorial program by typing the following commands:
% mmidoc
% mmi_tutorial
