System resources were exhausted on the mail server and several large user mailboxes had to be moved before service could be restored. 05/07/2007 An unplanned interruption of mail service occurred at 9:00am this morning. The problem was related to a kernel bug in a recently patched kernel. 04/02/2007 The ECE application server will be down from 8-9am on Monday April 2nd. After it comes back up, you will need to remount any NFS mounts ("umount /ece","mount /ece") or reboot your computer. 03/20/2007 The department email server will be down for a scheduled memory upgrade on Tuesday March 20, 2007 from 7:00am to 8:00am. |
