Silvaco is available on the Linux and
Windows workstations in the ECI lab. On the Linux workstations in
the lab, the Silvaco tools are located in /eci/silvaco/bin.
In order to use the Silvaco
tools on the Linux workstations you must first setup your Silvaco
environment.
At the linux command prompt,
type the following command:
% /eci/silvaco/etc/silvaco_setup.sh
You should now be able to use the tools in /eci/silvaco/bin.
Examples and Tutorial
DECKBUILD provides full on-line examples that can be loaded up at
the press of a button. These
examples provide input decks for actual devices and help when
learning about DECKBUILD.
Chapter 2 of the DECKBUILD Users Manual
provides a tutorial that explains how to use DECKBUILD to perform a
simple simulation.
