Windows 2000, XP Professional, and Server 2003 This executable will install the
Synplify, Synplify Pro, and Synplify Premier 9.6.1 software onto your PC.

To install, double-click:
fpga961.exe


Linux RHEL 3, RHEL 4, RHEL 5, SLES 9 and SLES 10

This tar file will install the Synplify, Synplify Pro, and Synplify Premier
9.6.1 software onto your Linux workstation.

To unpack, run:
tar xf fpga961_linux.tar

For installation instructions, see the file:
./linux/linux_install.txt

To install, run:
./linux/install.sh


Instructions for Installing Certify 9.2 Production Software

Windows 2000, XP Professional and Server 2003
This executable will install the Certify 9.2 Production Software onto your PC. The location of this executable has been e-mailed to the address provided.

If you have a hardware key (dongle), you must install the Sentinel Driver included with this download to enable the key.

To install, double-click:
cert920.exe

Linux Red Hat RHEL 3, RHEL 4, and SLES 9

This tar file will install the Certify 9.2 Production Software onto your Linux workstation. The location of this executable has been e-mailed to the address provided.

To unpack, run:
tar xf cert920_linux.tar

For installation instructions, see the file:
./linux/linux_install.txt

To install, run:
./linux/install.sh


License information for Windows

Go to Start -->Control Panel-->System and select the Advanced tab. 
Click on the Environment Variables button. Select New under User Variables. 
In the New User Variables dialog box, add a SYNPLICITY_LICENSE_FILE variable, 
with a value of 1709@license.ece.ucsb.edu. 

In the following example, 1709 is the port number and license.ece.ucsb.edu 
is the server name.

Variable: SYNPLICITY_LICENSE_FILE
Value: 1709@license.ece.ucsb.edu
