Anand Ramaswamy received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Physics from the University of Southern California in May 2005. As an undergraduate he worked at USC's Microphotonics Device Group under Dr. John O'Brien. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the University of California at Santa Barbara. His research interests lie in Coherent Communication Systems and non-linear mechanisms in high power photodetectors.
