    Ying-hao was born in Taiwan and received his B.S. degree in Physic from National Taiwan University in 1997. In 2005, he received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in University of Southern California Los Angeles, CA. His thesis project focused on electro-optical polymer devices and optical trimming using photo-bleaching. He spent a year of internship in INTEL after graduation working on Silicon photonics, mainly Raman lasers and wavelength conversion in silicon waveguides. Now Ying-hao is an assistant project scientist working on hybrid evanescent silicon devices and focus on high speed components.
