Ashok T. Ramu was born on Oct 27th 1983 in Bangalore, India. He received the degree of Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Madras in 2005. He is currently pursuing his M.S./Ph.D. under the guidance of Prof. J. E. Bowers at UCSB. His research interests include theoretical modeling and numerical simulation of electronic and heat transport in novel semiconductor materials and devices.
