I was born in Hungary and I grew up in Germany. At the age of 18 I moved to the US to study physics. I attended De Anza college for 2 years after which I transfered to UCSC. At UCSC I worked as an undergraduate research assistant in the Bridges lab. We analyzed crystal structures using X-ray absorption spectroscopy (EXAFS to be more specific). I am currently enrolled in the MS/PhD program in the ECE department at UCSB. In John Bowers' group, I am working on optical buffers. In my free time I enjoy observing the night sky with my telescope.
