Brief Biography

Dr. Alizadeh joined the UCSB electrical and computer engineering department in January 2017. Prior to that, she spent two years at Stanford University as a postdoctoral scholar. She received her PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California Davis in 2014 and her B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in 2009. Dr. Alizadeh has been the recipient of the National Science Foundation CAREER award.

Research Interests

Networks, optimization, and data-driven learning algorithms with applications in cyber-physical systems, e.g., smart grid and electric transportation networks.
