I am a Ph.D. canditate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). I work in the field of image processing and computer vision, at the Vision Research Lab, under the supervision of Professor B.S. Manjunath. My research interests include: image segmentation, object tracking, object recognition, bio-image processing, applied optimization. Please visit my vitae page for more details.

My interests and hobbies outside the lab include painting, drawing, music, playing a bit piano, gardening swimming, travel, and recently bird watching.
