I am a PhD Candidate at the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at UCSB. I am being advised by Prof. Jerry D. Gibson and am a part of the ViVoNets Lab. My research interests include communication theory, wireless communications, signal processing and information theory. My primary research interest is in the areas of cross layer design and link adaptation for multimedia communications over wireless local area networks (WLANs). Currently, I am pursuing research on exploiting spatial diversity to improve the performance of WLANs in a multipath fading environment.
