About me
Welcome! I joined the ECE faculty, UC Santa Barbara, in Winter 2017. I was a staff scientist in the Wi-Fi division at Broadcom, San Diego, from 2010 to 2017. At Broadcom I was involved with the design and implementation of fast and power efficient 11n/11ac/11ax Wi-Fi chips. As part of the systems team at Broadcom I worked on all phases of Wi-Fi chip production from conceptual design to integration of the chip into customer products. Prior to that I worked as a postdoctoral scholar at Scripps Institution of Oceanography on developing channel models for underwater wireless communications. I received my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC San Diego in 2009. I run the Computer Engineering capstone program at UC Santa Barbara, most of my teaching is also centered around courses related to CE capstone projects.
