Grading and Rules
Your grade will be based on your performance in 3 areas:
1) the homework sets (40%)
2) the midterm (25%)
3) the final exam (35%)
 

Homework will be assigned one week before the deadline, and will be collected in class on Wednesdays unless otherwise specified.

Late homework will not be accepted, except in case of severe hardship.

The midterm will be in class (date to be decided).

The final exam will be on Wednesday December 10th, 12-3pm (unless subject to change).

Both midterm and final will be open-book exams.

!! Please use MATLAB or similar graphing programs for plots and include the equation used to create the graph.

Remember to add the useful approximation formula into appendix 3: b 1 - [ln(1+(v^2)/2) / ((v^2)/2)]

                     - Practice doing problems with a time limit
                     - Memorize the most commonly used equations
